The stars of the show are Georges Braque, Pablo Picasso, Juan Gris, Fernand Léger and, of course, cubism, which finished with painting's traditional illusionism and radically transformed our view of the world. These 78 cubist paintings, drawings and sculptures are a generous gift to the museum from cosmetics magnate Leonard A. Lauder.
