In the "psychological landscapes" of Nikolai Kasatkin (b. 1932), who was part of the circle that included Erik Bulatov and Oleg Vasiliev, the influence of photorealism and conceptual practises from the second half of the 20th century can be discerned. The works at this show play on the motif of a picture within a picture.
